In 2008, David along with his partner and brother Stephen, recapitalized the largest corporate portfolio in Kentucky history, and in 2014, David made national headlines for closing Citigroup’s largest Wall Street rated CMBS corporate portfolio loan in Kentucky.

In 2000, at age 32, David Fenley built the first full service hotel in suburban Louisville in 20 years, Hilton Embassy Suites, which has received ten consecutive #1 rankings for all 187 Hilton Embassy Suites within the U.S.

The Fenley Family Tradition of Entrepreneurship extends back for more than 150 years. In 1862, David & Stephen’s great, great, great grandparents settled in Louisville at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moreman Home, which later became the largest dairy farm in Louisville. In the current day, David Fenley, at age 35, became the only two-time, and back-to-back, Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” finalist for 2003 and 2004 for Kentucky and Ohio and at age 39, became a Business First “Business Leader of the Year” finalist for Large Public or Private Companies in Kentucky above $25 Million in annual gross revenues.
